Hydrogen Generation Plant
The lower heating value defines the heat quantity released during complete combustion and subsequent cooling down to initial conditions whereas the water produced during combustion is still in vaporous state. The Lower heating value differs from upper heating value in the amount of evaporation enthalpy of the steam which is available the fluegas.
